Cancellation Policies:
The Colonial Inn is a small property where every reservation is both important and special to us. If your plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us thirty days prior to your arrival date for a cheerful refund, less a $35 processing fee. Please ask us about moving your reservation for no charge.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than thirty days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation booking, unless we are able to re-book all nights. You will receive a refund less $35 processing fee for all rooms that are re-booked.. Cancellations made 7 or less days prior to arrival date will receive no refund.
Rates and policies are subject to change and vary during Holiday periods, and for some special requests.

Information Collection
Our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience in making reservations at The Colonial Inn. We only collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this. Personally identifiable information is only obtained when making a reservation. All identifiable information provided will not be disclosed to anyone unless we are specifically requested to do so. The Colonial Inn does not give or sell to anyone any information we collect on our site.
We sometimes use data collection devices such as “cookies” on certain pages of the Site to measure effectiveness and safety. A “cookie” is a small file that gets placed on your harddrive that helps us provide our services. You are free to decline cookies if you choose too.
Security
At The Colonial Inn, we take security seriously. When users make a reservation we use every precaution to safe guard it online and offline.
Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.
Policy Modifications
The Colonial Inn may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners, and service providers.
General Notes:
Rates vary by season and are listed on our Rooms & Rates page. All rooms accommodate a maximum of two guests. All rooms are non-smoking. Out of respect for our guests on their weekend getaways, we must set policy that no children are allowed but please ask us about the Barn at Smithville with 12 rooms that accommodate children and groups up to 4 people. No guest pets permitted.
We have a minimum stay for Mayfest and Octoberfest Weekend.
